Sunrise After Judgement
our heat cries the end of broken hearts. too young to see that heaven came. too young. too young. and went. too young to cry the end of broken hearts. too young. too young. in the shadow of paradise. of to know. to know. to know. castles in the sky wouldn’t shed a tear. for you. for what you’ve done. nothing at all. everything leaves everything. except for you.
why do you remain?
to see the broken heart’s broken heart weep the waters of the flood.
why do you remain?
to read just one more poem before the break of day.
why do you remain?
to watch the sun rise in a world where i’m all that’s left.
i can tell it’s a dream because i know i’m here. not even god would question it. and it’s beautiful. tears are falling down my face as i stare blankly into the heart’s blinding break. it beats the rhythm of the world’s silence.
i love you. i love you.
even when the world’s gone still.
i love you.
